Dear Partners,

We are pleased to inform you that the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency, Emomali Rahmon has signed a Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Public Private Partnership”.

It is worthwhile to point out that development of this Law was initiated and prepared by the Consultative Council under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Improvement of Investment Climate and was highlighted in an Annual Address of the President of Tajikistan to Majlisi Oli (Parliament) of the country. According to the decision of the Investment Council, this Law was drafted and was presented in the 10-th Session of the Investment Council on October 19, 2012.

Active contribution of partners, namely representatives of private sector, the government bodies, especially the State Committee on Investment and the State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan and development partners in preparation process of this Law is duly noted.

Hopefully, our constructive cooperation on successful implementation of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Public Private Partnership” would be continued and strengthened.
