On January 15, 2019, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan has signed the Decree № 181 "On amendments to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 16, 2018, №990 "On the announcement of a moratorium on all inspections of manufacturing business entities."

According to this decree a moratorium on all forms of inspections of manufacturing business entities until January 1, 2021 is declared. The issues of moratorium will be regulated and implemented in the framework of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan " On the moratorium of inspections of manufacturing business entities».

It should be noted that the provisions of the law will be applied by all inspection and law enforcement agencies, including the Prosecutor General’s Office, Chamber of Accounts, Agency on State Financial Control and Fight Against Corruption, National Bank, and the tax and customs authorities.

The purpose of the moratorium is the state support of manufacturing business entities, creation of new jobs, strengthening the industrial and export potential of the Republic, reducing inspections and providing a favorable investment and business climate in the country. It should be reminded that these issues is being implemented within instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of Nation, His Exellency, Emomali Rahmon given in the Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Parliament of the country “On key directions of internal and foreign policy of the Republic of Tajikistan” dated December 26, 2018.
