On May 15, 2015 in the framework of preparations for the next meeting of the Council Head of the Secretariat of the Council Numon Abdujaborov conducted a meeting with managements of the mining sector and food enterprises.
A number of challenges for development of the domestic businesses in the industrial sector, including the improvement of the investment climate in the mining sector and food production were considered and discussed At the meeting.
Also, the draft recommendations of the working group on improvement of investment in the industrial sector, including mining and food industries in the country were discussed at the meeting.
Representatives of food processing and production companies noted that currently state support for domestic producers during selling their goods in shops of foodstuffs is very necessary.
Also the representatives of the mining companies suggested a number of recommendations to the draft Action Plan of the Government on Improvement of the Investment Climate in the Sectors of Industry, Supporting Domestic Producers and National Production.
It should be noted that in accordance with the instructions of the Protocol of the 13th Session of the Consultative Council Ministry of Industry and New Technologies was instructed together with the Ministries of Agriculture, Economic Development and Trade, the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management, Department of Geology and other ministries and agencies, the private sector and by involving development partners to establish a Working Group on Improvement of Investment Climate in the Sectors of Industry, Supporting Domestic Producers and Development of National Production, as well as to conduct comprehensive analysis and to submit the results with specific recommendations to the next Sessions of the Council.
