DUSHANBE, January 26, 2018 – The 18th Session of the Consultative Council on Improvement of Investment Climate under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the President of the country, Chairman of the Consultative Council on Improvement of Investment Climate, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.
Leader of the Nation, Esteemed Emomali Rahmon opened the session and introduced Executive Secretary of the Council, Chairman of the State Investment Committee and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan – Farrukh Hamralizoda, Head of EBRD Representation Office in Tajikistan – Ayten Rustamova, Head of Secretariat of the Consultative Council on Improvement of the Investment Climate under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan – Sharaf Sheralizoda and new members of the Council.

Particularly it has been informed on adoption of New Tariff Methodology dated May 26, 2017 and its introduction since October of the last year, improvement of Tajikistan’s position in the Doing Business Report of the World Bank Group for 2018, reducing the number of inspections of activity of business entities down to 52% in 2017 comparing to the 2016 and establishment of the sovereign credit rating of the country by international rating agencies Moody's Investors Service as well as Standard and Poors on the level “В3, stable” on August 2017.
Concerning to the second item of the Session Minister of transport of the Republic of Tajikistan – Khudoyor Khudoyorzoda had a speech and presented an analytical report and Draft Action Plan of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on Improvement of Investment Climate in Transport and Logistics sectors.
