Today, on February 22, 2012 in Dushanbe with the initiative of Secretariat of the Consultative Council on Improvement of Investment Climate under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan a Round Table with participation of representatives of domestic and foreign entrepreneurs was conducted.
The purpose of carrying out of this event was discussion of the second round of the process of determination of issues (filtration process) for forthcoming sessions of the Consultative Council.
During the Round Table the Head of Secretariat of the Consultative Council Mr. Zavkiev Zavkidjon introduced participants with the proposed issues and emphasized that for the purpose of implementation of instructions of the Chairman of the Consultative Council, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon concerning improvement of investment and business climate, important issues are defined in accordance with the private sector’s views by principles of transparency and priority for the national economy.
It had been emphasized, that proposed issues, including simplifications of taxation system and reporting, strengthening of state-private partnership, simplification of inspections and others are directed on improvement of an investment climate and creation of favorable conditions for entrepreneurship activity in the country.
At the Round Table representatives of private sector had expressed their views regarding identified issues and confidence that discussion of these issues in forthcoming sessions of the Consultative Council will promote further improvement of investment and business climate.
