On 7 March, 2012 and the Secretariat of the Council Council conducted a meeting with representatives of development partners to discuss the format of Working Plan of the Secretariat. Representatives of EBRD, IFC, SECO, DFID and GTZ took part at this meeting.

Head of the Secretariat, Mr. Zavkidjon Zavkiev submitted the initial draft of the Plan, noting that the Secretariat has begun drafting the Plan on the basis of the Strategy of the Secretariat for the medium term, that was presented at the Round Table on "Consultative Council on Improvement of Investment Climate under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan – as an instrument to facilitate open dialogue between state and private sectors” on 20 January, 2012. Development of the Plan with specific measures, deadlines and expectations was initiated at the request of the donor community.

During the meeting, participants expressed different views on the draft and agreed that jointly with all stakeholders from the development partners, will prepare their recommendations and amendments, and will present them to the Secretariat.
