On April 15 of this year, a bilateral meeting between Head of the Secretariat of the Consultative Council under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Improvement of Investment Climate Mr Zavkidjon Zavkiev and Head of the Representation Office of International Finance Corporation in Tajikistan Mr Christopher Miller was held.

The issues of coordination of development partner’s support in conducting an analysis of investment climate in tourism sphere according to the Working Plan of the activity of the Working Group, the issue of a trip of the Secretariat of the Investment Council under the Government of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Tajikistan and cooperation of the International Finance Corporation regarding thechnical support of the Investment Council’s web-site have been reviewed at the meeting.

It was noted, with satisfaction, that the Office of the International Finance Corporation is ready to provide support on activity of the Working Group, including on conducting an analysis of investment climate in tourism sphere, and coordinating activity of development partners on this directions. It was also informed, that the Office of the International Finance Corporation made commitment to provide financial support of Investment Council’s web-site till 2015 year and the trip of the Secretariat of the Investment Council under the Government of the Repuplic of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Tajikistan, which is planned in summer of this year.
