Today, a Round Table on Women’s Entrepreneurship Support and Handcraft Development was arranged and conducted in National Library.

The representatives of Secretariat of the Consultative Council on Improvement of Investment Climate under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, European Union Delegation to Tajikistan, EBRD, and NICE-TAK Sequa project welcomed participants and delivered a speech.

The presentation of Draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Handicrafts”, its content, and in general handcraft issues and its development, and recommendations was submitted to the participants in the first part of the event.

The second part of the event was covered by presentation of analysis “Gender Investment Climate Reforms in Tajikistan”, as well as training regarding this issue was conducted by EBRD Gender Experts. This training will have a positive effect to business women’ awareness.

The representatives of state agencies, as well as private sector representatives, development partners were attended the event, and delivered a speech.

The Round table was conducted within the framework of third anniversary of the "Entrepreneurship Day», and also National Exhibition of Artisans’ Products will be held on October 13-15 in Ismoiliya Centre.

This event was organized jointly by State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Secretariat of the Consultative Council on Improvement of Investment Climate under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan by EBRD and NICE-TAK' support.
