Today, a Seminar was conducted on "Youth Entrepreneurship Development Support in Tajikistan" at Hyatt Regency Hotel in the framework of the 3rd anniversary of " Entrepreneurship Day ".

Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Nigina Anvari opened the event and stressed regarding a wide range of business development issues in the country, including youth, ensuring the development of this sector, economic development issues and entrepreneurs’ contribution in this process.

Also, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, UNDP Country Director in Tajikistan and representative of the Russian Federation Embassy to Tajikistan welcomed participants and delivered a speech.

Topics on «Youth Entrepreneurship Support Forms in Tajikistan: current situation and prospects», "Youth Involvement Ways to Entrepreneurship Activities", and "Technological Projects Support, such as Business Incubator of Higher Economic School of the Russian Federation", and support issues, including the state, its implementation, the involvement of stakeholders, different aspects of the issues related to youth involvement in entrepreneurship, ways of increasing support and practical experience in this sector, such as Business Incubator has been considered during this event.

Representatives of universities’ technological park, entrepreneurs, consulting companies, development partners, and state authority attended the event.

In general, business support, as well as challenges and opportunities in these field, international tendencies of youth entrepreneurship support, forms of support of this sector, have been considered and discussed.

This seminar was held under the project "Improving the Wellbeing of Population in 9 Rural Areas of Tajikistan", funded by the Government of the Russian Federation and implemented by UNDP in Tajikistan.
