In accordance with XIX session of the Consultative Council the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon initiated extension of VAT simplified period. (i.e. to establish a 5% value added tax for private entrepreneurs in education sector)

This point was reviewed and approved by the Parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan on June 28, 2019.

At the same time:

The VAT rate for catering and construction companies will be set to 7%.
